Alberta Labour History Institute
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN US AT OUR AGM ON:
Wednesday, October 18, 2017 @ 7:00 pm
The Glenora Condo – Club Room (Main Floor)
12319 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton
Following the business portion of the meeting, which will include the election of the ALHI board, we will feature our guest speaker, Trevor Stace.
A member of the Little Grand Rapids First Nation under Treaty 5, Trevor is the coordinator of ALHI’s Indigenous Labour History Project. He will talk about the importance of this initiative which we hope will raise awareness of the contributions of Indigenous peoples in the province’s tapestry of economic, social and cultural life.
Following Trevor’s presentation, we are holding a reception where you will have an opportunity to mingle, enjoy refreshments and finger food.
